UPDATED: Golden Gate’s July 4th holiday weekend service announcements

With Independence Day on July 4, the Marin County Fair from July 3 to 7, and America’s Cup Louis Vuitton Cup summer kickoff on July 4, Golden Gate Transit and Golden Gate Ferry announce service schedules for the upcoming July 4th holiday weekend festivities.

For the July 4th Holiday on Thursday, July 4, GGT and GGF will operate holiday schedules. Visit www.goldengate.org/schedules.php for more info.

(ADDED JULY 1) On Friday, July 5, Larkspur Ferry and Sausalito will operate reduced weekday schedules. For trip times, visit www.goldengate.org/news/transit/july4th2013.php#modifiedferry.

Visit the Golden Gate booth at the Marin County Fair, from Wednesday, July 3 to Sunday, July 7, and help decorate our “Schools Rule” bus. Fairgoers can ride regular GGT bus service on Routes 45/45K and 49/49K to the Fair and take advantage of added post-fireworks service (at the US 101 Terra Linda/Freitas Pkwy and N. San Pedro southbound bus pads) to the San Rafael Transit Center for connecting service.

Also on July 4th, for the America’s Cup Louis Vuitton Cup races, GGT will run special Route 4 service between the Manzanita Park & Ride lot and the Temporary Transbay Terminal (Main & Folsom) in SF. Service will operate every 30 minutes between 10am and 6pm in both directions. Please note: during the AC34 races, GGT riders can board and disembark at any GGT bus stop in SF.
