San Francisco’s subway is so packed, people will soon pay $16 a day to take ‘water taxis’ to work

According to an article in yesterday’s Business Insider, San Francisco commuters will soon have another option available for their daily pilgrimage to and from work and school.

Over the weekend, the city gave two private “water taxi” companies, Tideline Marine Group and PROP SF, the green-light to begin scheduled commuter runs across the San Francisco Bay.

We at SF Ferry Riders welcome these new routes and riders and hope that the other services are soon able to expand their capacities to end the constant hassles currently plaguing San Francisco’s commuters.
