Ride Golden Gate public transit to SF’s Giants Parade tomorrow!

Fans can ride GOLDEN GATE FERRY and GOLDEN GATE TRANSIT to San Francisco for the Giants Parade tomorrow, Friday, October 31. The parade starts at 12 noon at Market & Steuart.

Larkspur Ferry will add service tomorrow morning. After 7am until about 11:30am, boats will “load and go,” meaning they will leave Larkspur as soon as they are full. Boarding will be first come, first served. Sausalito Ferry will not add trips, but boats will be staffed to accommodate more passengers.

Paradegoers are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO PURCHASE FERRY TICKETS TODAY as lines will be very long tomorrow morning. Ferry tickets are available from ticket machines at our Larkspur, Sausalito, and SF Ferry Terminals. Clipper cards are accepted too Рthese may be purchased at these same ticket machines or at our Customer Service Center located on Platform D at the San Rafael Transit Center (hours: 7am to 6pm). Paradegoers are further ENCOURAGED TO RIDE THE WAVE FERRY SHUTTLE, CARPOOL, OR FIND ALTERNATE WAYS to the Larkspur Ferry Terminal as PARKING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Golden Gate Transit will operate regular weekday service between the North Bay and SF. Every effort will be made to adhere to schedules; however, due to the Parade and increased traffic throughout SF, delays are expected, particularly on the northbound afternoon commute trips. Bus stops in the SF Civic Center and South of Market areas will not be served due to Parade detours.

For complete details, please visit www.goldengate.org or call 511 (say “Golden Gate Transit,” then “operator” to bypass recorded messages)/TDD 711. The Golden Gate Customer Service Center is open weekdays, 7am to 6pm.
