New 8:40 am Larkspur-SF trip starts Monday, Feb. 2
On Monday, February 2, Larkspur Ferry will add a morning commute trip at 8:40 a.m., arriving in San Francisco at 9:15 a.m. The added trip will operate as a 9-month demonstration project.
Peak morning ferries to San Francisco at 7:30, 7:50, and 8:20 a.m. typically sell out and back-up Golden Gate Transit buses have accommodated excess riders at 7:50 and 8:20. The new ferry trip is being added to relieve overcrowding and overflow from earlier trips, and this back-up bus service will no longer operate as of February 2.
Please note: The Wave ferry shuttles – Routes 24 and 37 – will begin serving this new ferry trip on Monday, March 9.
