Due to a vessel out of service, Larkspur Ferry will run a modified schedule on Friday, October 9. In addition, Blue Angels Airshow may impact ridership.
On Friday, October 9, the MV Golden Gate will be removed from service due to unforeseen mechanical issues. The Larkspur Ferry schedule will be modified as noted:
- The 7:30 am Larkspur departure will be operated by a Spaulding vessel (45-minute crossing, arriving at 8:15 am).
- The 8:40 am Larkspur departure will be CANCELLED.
- The 4:00 pm San Francisco departure will depart ten minutes EARLIER, at 3:50 pm. It will be operated by a Spaulding vessel (45-minute crossing, arriving in Larkspur at 4:35 pm).
- The 5:30 pm San Francisco departure will be operated by a Spaulding vessel (45-minute crossing, arriving in Larkspur at 6:15 pm).
In addition, Fleet Week and the Blue Angels Air Show are scheduled for that same day, which is expected to substantially increase ridership and may lead to sold out departures.
