Coming Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018: Ferry Gate Switch in San Francisco for Alameda/Oakland Passengers

Beginning on Thursday, December 20, all arrivals and departures on San Francisco Bay Ferry’s Alameda/Oakland/ San Francisco route will occur at the newly opened Gate G. Gate G is further south from Gate E and can only be accessed at this time via a pedestrian bridge that connects to The Embarcadero.

Harbor Bay ferry service will remain at Gate E until mid-January. Vallejo ferry service remains at Gate B.

Alameda/Oakland ferry passengers should give themselves enough time to get to Gate G. See the map below.

The Alameda/Oakland queue will run adjacent to the southern edge of the pedestrian bridge before turning to the south down The Embarcadero. Extra guest assistance representatives will be on hand to assist passengers on Thursday and Friday – look for the yellow coats.
