Take Transit to All Major Events in San Francisco This Week, October 2-8

by admin on October 2, 2012

There are several major events happening in San Francisco this week and weekend, including the America’s Cup World Series races, Fleet Week, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Castro Street Fair, Italian Heritage Parade, etc. Fans, participants, and event goers are encouraged not to drive and to TAKE TRANSIT, including Golden Gate Transit Bus and Golden Gate Ferry.

In addition to Golden Gate Transit’s regular weekday and weekend bus services, added bus service will run from southern Marin on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7. Golden Gate Ferry will operate its regular weekday and weekend ferry services from Larkspur and Sausalito to the San Francisco Ferry Building.

For more information and trip planning assistance, visit www.goldengate.org or call 511 (say “Golden Gate Transit,” then “operator” to bypass recorded messages)/TDD 711.
