Sidewalk to close between Larkspur Terminal and new pedestrian bridge

by admin on April 1, 2016

Starting Monday, April 4 and continuing for about 5 weeks, the sidewalk on the south side of East Sir Francis Drake Blvd between the Larkspur Ferry Terminal and the new pedestrian bridge will be closed. A pedestrian/bicyclist detour will be in place which may require ferry customers to allow extra time to access the terminal.

This closure is the final phase of the Central Marin Ferry Connection project and involves the reconstruction and improvement of the portion of the sidewalk between terminal and the pedestrian bridge.

For more information, including a map showing the work zone and detour, visit http://goldengate.org/news/ferry/sidewalk-closed-for-ferry-connection-project.php or call 511 (say “Golden Gate Transit,” then “operator” to bypass recorded messages)/TDD 711. The Golden Gate Customer Service Center is open weekdays from 7 am to 6 pm.
