GOLDEN GATE FERRY
Golden Gate Ferry will supplement its weekend services with added trips from the Larkspur Ferry Terminal. Added trips will “load and go,” meaning that boats will leave as soon as they are full and ready to depart. Boarding will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit our event page for Larkspur Ferry & Sausalito Ferry timetables.
To avoid long lines on event day, ferry riders are strongly encouraged to PURCHASE ROUND TRIP FERRY TICKETS IN ADVANCE from ticket machines located at our Larkspur, San Francisco, and Sausalito terminals. Customers may also use a Clipper card to take advantage of a discounted fare. Clipper cards are available online at clippercard.com, from many Bay Area retail locations (visit Clipper website), from ferry terminal ticket machines, and at our Customer Service Center located at Platform D at the San Rafael Transit Center (hours: weekdays from 7AM to 6PM).
Golden Gate Sausalito Ferry will operate a normal weekend schedule on Saturday, Jan. 20. Golden Gate Tiburon Ferry does not operate on weekends—Blue & Gold Fleet provides weekend service between Tiburon and Pier 41.
GOLDEN GATE TRANSIT
Women’s March attendees may also ride a Golden Gate Transit bus from Marin and Sonoma counties to San Francisco. Route 30 operates to/from San Rafael via Sausalito; Route 70 operates to/from Novato; and Route 101 operates to/from Santa Rosa. Combined, these routes operate at least 3 trips every hour to/from the San Francisco Civic Center area, in both directions.
For Golden Gate Transit bus schedules and maps showing bus stop locations, visit our Bus Schedules page. Be sure to click on the “SAT” tab for Saturday timetables, as weekday and Sunday timetables will differ.
Bus fares may be paid on board in cash or by Clipper for a discounted fare. See above for Clipper card purchase locations.
