Public hearing set for March 12 on proposal to increase mid-day service on Routes 4 & 27

The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District (District) will hold a Public Hearing at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015, to receive comments on a proposal to increase mid-day service between San Francisco and Marin County on Routes 4 and 27. The Public Hearing will take place in the Board Room, Administration Building, Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza in San Francisco, CA.

The District implemented a nine-month demonstration project in June 2014 to provide off-peak service on two Golden Gate Transit (GGT) routes between the San Francisco Financial District and Central and Southern Marin County in recognition of the District’s Vision for GGT and to fulfill other important goals.

For more information on the proposal, including a link to the related staff report and ways to comment, visit www.goldengate.org or call 511 (say “Golden Gate Transit,” then “operator” to bypass recorded messages)/TDD 711.
