May 7, 2013 – Partial Lane Closure on Gold Gate Bridge thru 11PM. Giants Fans Encouraged to Take Direct Ferry from Larkspur

by admin on May 7, 2013

Due to unraveling asphalt in the southbound lane on the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge, a temporary lane closure will be in effect through 11 PM tonight when normal construction lane configurations start. Drivers should expect delays in both directions. Through 11 PM tonight, the Bridge roadway will be configured as 3 Northbound and 2 Southbound lanes from the north end of the Bridge to the Anchorage where the paving ends. The roadway opens up to 3 Northbound and 3 Southbound lanes across the remainder of the Bridge.

Giants fans are encouraged to take the Giants Ferry from Larkspur directly to the Ballpark for tonight’s game. There are currently 300 ferry tickets still available. Advance purchase is required – visit http://goldengate.org/giantsferry to buy Giants Ferry tickets.

For more information, visit www.goldengate.org or call 511 (say “Golden Gate Transit,” then “operator” to bypass recorded messages)/TDD 711. The Golden Gate Customer Service Center is open weekdays, 7 am to 6 pm.
