The following is from Golden Gate Transit …
This corrects yesterday’s notice regarding backup bus service while the M.V. Mendocino goes to dry-dock and the M.V. Del Norte operates the Mendocino‘s trips (5:50am, 7:10am, 8:20am, etc.) beginning on Monday, August 9, 2010.
Correction: A backup bus will be provided by Golden Gate Transit for overflow passengers on the 7:10am and 8:20am Larkspur departures only. We apologize for the misinformation and any confusion!

On Monday, August 9, 2010, the M.V. Mendocino will go to the shipyard for its routine dry-docking. It is expected to be out of service for 2 to 4 weeks.
During this time, Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry will maintain its 2 high-speed weekday schedule using the M.V. Del Norte and the M.V. Napa. The Del Norte, returning to service with new engines, will be used for the crossings usually served by the Mendocino (i.e., 5:50am, 7:10am, 8:20am, etc.). A back-up bus will be provided by Golden Gate Transit for overflow passengers on the 7:10am and 8:20am Larkspur departures.
We appreciate your patience!
