This is an update for Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry for today, Wednesday, November 3.
Due to a very large volume of Giants fans, throughout the day Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry will adhere to our regular weekday schedule as closely as possible and add additional trips as resources allow. Customers will be boarded on a first come, first serve basis.
Congratulations to the 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants!!
Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry has added extra morning service to tomorrow’s Giants Parade as follows:
|Depart Larkspur||Arrive SF||Depart SF||Arrive Larkspur|
These Spaulding trips (50-minute crossings) are in addition to Larkspur’s regular high-speed weekday service. One-way fares are $8.25 for adults and $4.10 for youth/senior/disabled/Medicare. Children 5 and under ride FREE (limit 2 per adult; each child must have a no-fare child ticket). Clipper will be accepted.
The Parade begins at 11am at Montgomery and Washington streets, goes southbound on Montgomery to Market Street, and continues west on Market Street to the Civic Center Plaza, replicating the route taken by the team when they came to SF from New York in 1958.
Please note: regular Larkspur Ferry service may experience crowds, especially the 8:20am, 9:15am, and 10:10am trips departing Larkspur and late afternoon trips departing San Francisco. Also, always use extreme caution when driving in the Larkspur parking lot due to increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
