GOLDEN GATE FERRY SERVICE SUSPENDED MAY 1 UNTIL APPROX. 2 pm

Golden Gate Larkspur and Sausalito Ferry will NOT OPERATE until the afternoon of Tuesday, May 1;

Ferry service will start up again from Larkspur at 2:15 pm and will start up again from Sausalito at 1:55 pm

The GGBHTD Union Coalition leaders, Alex Tonisson (For Media Contact:, atonisson@ifpte21.org; [ed. phone number removed]) and Marina Secchitano (For Media Contact, ibusf@pacbell.net; [ed. phone number removed]) issued a press release today with a heading reading as follows: Golden Gate Ferry Workers to Strike on May Day Strike Will Shut Down Morning Ferries

In response, so that our ferry customers are not inconvenienced tomorrow morning, May 1, when they arrive at the ferry terminals with a strike action, with no service as a result, we are suspending service and informing our customers.

Golden Gate Transit services will be operating and the Golden Gate Bridge will remain open.
