Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District reports afternoon commute delays expected as a result of BART strike

by admin on July 2, 2013

The following notice was issued by the Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District  at 9:20 am today:

July 2, 2013: Due to the increase in traffic in the San Francisco Financial District as a result of the BART strike, Golden Gate Transit afternoon departures were delayed as much as 60 minutes leaving SF yesterday, July 1st. We expect similar delays for each afternoon commute north while the BART strike continues. GGT appreciates your understanding and patience during this time.

No doubt the ferries have more passengers as well. Plan accordingly.
