Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary: Bridge and Transit Info

On Sunday, May 27, the Golden Gate Bridge turns 75! Tens of thousands of participants are expected at the Golden Gate Festival along the San Francisco waterfront to help celebrate this historic event.

There is NO EVENT PARKING – TAKE PUBLIC TRANSIT, WALK or BIKE to the events.

The Golden Gate Festival main activities will be held at Fort Point, Crissy Field, The Presidio and Marina Green. Anniversary activities will also be held at Fort Mason Center, Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco Maritime Historical National Park, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Pier 39. A fireworks show will start at 9:30pm and will be viewable from Fort Point to Marina Green as well as areas north of the Bridge. Admission is free and all events are alcohol-free.
