BART San Francisco Ferry Plaza Barrier Project

by admin on September 12, 2012

On Monday, September 17, 2012, BART is planning to start a nine-month construction project adjacent to the Golden Gate San Francisco Ferry Terminal. Construction will NOT impact Golden Gate Ferry operations, but there will be obvious signs of the construction with 27 physical barriers installed on and around the Ferry Plaza to protect BART facilities located behind the SF Ferry Building.

While some areas of the Ferry Plaza will be closed to the public during the different stages of construction and ferry riders may be directed around work areas on a limited basis, ALL access to our ferry operations will be maintained.

For more information, please contact Christopher Vasquez, BART Community Relations Liaison, at 510-874-7371 or cvasque@bart.gov.
