Due to limited parking at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal, the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District (District) is working to secure additional overflow parking for customers taking the Giants Ferry from the Larkspur Terminal to AT&T Park for some midweek, midday ballgames during the 2018 San Francisco Giants baseball season. Golden Gate Transit (GGT) will provide free shuttle service between these satellite lots and the Larkspur Terminal.
For ballgames on Wednesday, April 11; Wednesday, April 25; Wednesday, May 2; and Wednesday, May 16; the District has entered into an agreement with the City of Corte Madera to use the gravel parking lot adjacent to the Village at Corte Madera (across from Nordstrom). The District is working on securing other lots for midday games on June 6, 20, and 28; July 11; August 7; and September 12.
For these April and May games, GGT shuttles will depart the Corte Madera overflow lot at 10:26AM, 10:31AM, 10:36AM, and 10:41AM for the short ride to the ferry terminal to meet the departing 11:00AM Giants Ferry. Customers should arrive to the overflow lot early – boarding will be first come, first served. After the game, shuttles will bring fans back to this lot. Boarding for these return trips will also be first come, first served, and some riders may have to wait for the shuttles to make a second trip. No shuttle fare or parking fee will be collected.
The Corte Madera overflow lot is located south of the Larkspur Ferry Terminal at 1557 Redwood Highway, across from the Village of Corte Madera shopping center, on the east side of Hwy 101. See the attached map.
Giants fans may also choose other ways of accessing the Larkspur Ferry terminal – taxi, walking, biking, a ridesharing service (Lyft, Uber), etc. For a comprehensive list of alternatives, visit http://goldengateferry.org/parking/larkspur-terminal-parking-alternatives.php or call our customer service center at 415-455-2000.
